No puppies this winter--getting ready for a human baby!

As many of you who are on this site all the time know, I raise labradoodle pups for a breeder--I have not taken on any litters this winter, as I am helping my oldest daughter prepare for her first baby and my first grandchild!! I am so thrilled! Just 12 more weeks to wait. I am knitting, sewing and reading up on being a good grandparent.....but i think that is mostly about keeping your opinions to yourself!

My daughter is a large animal veterinarian, so this has caused us all some anxiety as it is a dangerous job under the best of circumstances, but all is going well so far and she intends to keep working as long as she can....she is looking good at 27 weeks along! (No gender knowledge yet--she dies not want to know....)

Congratulations, Ginny! As someone said to me when my first grandchild was born, becoming a grandparent is one of the few things in life that really is all it's cracked up to be!

Oh, how fun! it is really weird how everyone who I know is expecting this winter, but one person, is having a boy! where are all the girls???

Where are all the girls?? Well there's one getting ready to pop out here in California. My daughter is having #3 the end of December.
