No wonder my heart has a hole in it!

Break my heart in a million pieces.....I am on day 17 or so of being here ans I call my mom every day. I usually have my mom put the phone on speaker phone so I can talk to Jack initially he would lick the phone or turn his head. The second week he walked away from the phone a d out of the room.

Today, my mo. Said she thought Jack was depressed because he would not eat, didn't want to go on walks etc...so I had her put the phone on speaker...when he heard my voice he started whining and crying licking the phone...I can't get his cry out of my head!!!!


Ugggg I was holding it together pretty good but hearing my baby cry killed me....I guess it is. BEtter if he doesn't hear my voice and get excited for nothing.


This all better be worth while...I still don't k ow even if they are going to fix me here or not...I will know Thursday!

I am so sorry you have had to be away so long.  Just remember Jack is in excellent hands. Like everybody said, he won't know any difference in your being gone for 17 days or 17 hours.  It will be ok.  Please try to focus on getting better!

Thanks...I really appreciate it... For me it is torture ...I will of course not leave here until they clear me but I wish I knew for sure Jack has no concept of time....I probably am just being too sensitive anyway.

Jennifer, You are exactly where you need to be. You are doing this for yourself and for Jack!! I can't imagine what you are going through, but Jack is in great hands and so are you!! I have not been too active here on DK lately, being busy for Passover and lots of other stuff.  Just want to send

good wishes and hopes for a full and speedy recovery.  And I am sure Jack will be fine.  Maybe Mitzi could share some of the coconut macaroons she knocked off the counter yesterday with Jack, a full, large tray of them!
