We have wonderful best friends that are in love with our Oliver, and would love to have a goldendoodle of their own.  They have a very sweet little dog, a mixture that is just adorable.  They recently lost their 17 year old other dog, and want to get another dog.  they are wonderful doggie parents, very responsible, and loving to their animals.  Now they have asked me if there are doodles, golden or labradoodles that are small in size, like around 10-15 lbs?  I am not sure if even the minature doodles are that small, does anyone have one? Or do they even come that small?  I told them I would ask you guys, so I am asking...they love our Ollie, but do not want such a big dog.  And when looking for a breeder on doodlekisses, or rescue, what do they look under, or can a breeder be recommended?..I know we are not allowed to do this on this part of the site, but can a breeders name be e-mailed to a person?  thanks in advance for your help...cheryl

Allie is 25 pounds. I believe they can come smaller because her mom was a medium poodle. Her dad was already a goldendoodle. I believe I remember her dad was around 20 or so pounds. If you ask me, Allie is the PERFECT size because she is not too diffucult to groom and is still very fun and active......and loves to cuddle.

I agree with Leigh. Tara is 20 pounds and both of her parents are around 20.  She is small enough for easy grroming but large enough to keep up on hikes and outdoor activities. But if they want one they can carry around I have seen them smaller. There is at least one on DK that is 9 pounds I think. I will see if I can get more info about that one and contact you directly if I do.

I know there are mini aussiedoodles under 25 pounds too... Tori is a medium and is 38 pounds.

Rooney's dad is around 25lbs and his mother was 16lbs.  I haven't heard of a full grown weighing less than 16 but that doesn't mean that there aren't any.  These are Australians DL.
