Nurse Hattie arrived for her first hospital visit tonight with patients! She was greeted by many and everyone loved her to pieces! Above she is pictured with a few of her new co-workers. They refer to her as the "newest staff member...":)

I am so proud of her! She and I have worked so hard on control issues and she performed like a professional! No high energy-no jumping-always sitting to be petted-and big tail wags! My girl has officially passed her hospital internship and earned her nursing badge!

Ah, she looks so happy in this photo!  Glad the first night went well.

Congrats!!  I'm sure you will find that Hattie is the "best medicine" for the patients as well as the staff.  Bridget brings smiles and laughter to everyone she visits at the hospital :)

This is so great, Sandy! Hattie really looks like she loves her job!

What a great achievement for you both!! Maybe she'll go on to medical school : )

Hattie, That is the best smile ever! Sandy, you have every reason to be proud.

Sandy, Hattie is amazing!!! Congratulations on a job well done!!! She looks so happy in this picture!!

Hattie looks like she was born for this!  Nice. Enjoy it. I'm sure it will bring you many rewards. I take Finnegan into a local nursing home and it's so good for him and the patients.  It was a golden retriever named Holly that I met when my mom was in the hospital that inspired me. I'd love to take him in to the local hospital or to CHOP but he needs further certification.  What did you do with Hattie?

Double congratulations!  Here they want Delta (or what was Delta).  But it's really hard to get a test date. I wish they would take TDI because I think Finn would love the kids.

That is great.  I'm sure everybody appreciated her visit.

She's smiling! Love it!
Yea Hattie. She could not look more pleased with herself. Sweet girl.

That's so great, Sandy!!!

Reminds me of a funny/sad story though - awhile back, a nice lady brought her therapy dog to the Memory Care section of the Assisted Living facility where my mom is.  I watched while one of the care-givers encouraged one of the residents to come over to pet the dog.  Her response, "Why in the hell would I want to do that?"  Dog, care-giver, and trainer just moved on!
