On the Couch???

Do you let your doodle(s) on the couch or other furniture. Rosey and Bandit can get on the couch and the bed. I love snuggling on the couch and in bed with them. What are your doodle's rules?

Fudge and Vern do this front half on the bed too, but they are saying, "hoist me the rest of the way up, will ya?"

Sophie says, of course I can sit on the Sofa, but nothing else can be on it. These 2 blankets and this pillow belong on the Sofa. Every time I put them on there, she comes along and tosses them back on the floor! I must pick them up 4 or 5 times a day!

Lucy on the other hand loves to lay on TOP of whatever pillows are on the sofa. Even if they are just like little 8" square decorative pillows, she wants to place her whole body on top of it. We call her Horton!

I love this picture....it looks like Maddie Irishdoodle is smiling in her sleep. She must be having some very happy dreams.

Before Haley we never let previous two dogs on furniture at all. We had intended to follow same rule with Haley…

Haley told us early on that doodles belong on furniture and we just couldn’t say “NO”!

This is an old couch in upstairs hall along with a TV. I do have a nice gate across the living room doorway to keep Haley out of living room and off antique furniture. He is only allowed in that room under supervision.
