To start I have been taking care of my son's bearded dragon lizards since July. Hannah and Honey bark like crazy at them when they start runing around their fish tanks. The other day I decided maybe if they meet the lizards they will stop this crazy barking, so I let them in the living room and get them over by the fish tanks and Honey could of cared less, but Hannah stood there looking in the tanks and whine crying to them, it was funny. So now they are kinda friends and no barking at the lizards since. Now last night I noticed the one didn't look so good, how do you help a sick lizard on a Saturday night? You don't, so it goes and crawls in the corner of the tank and closes it's eyes. This morning we pronounce this lizard "D.T.A.D.N." I get my son on the phone...he tells me to pick him up and see if it's dead (not really wanting to pick this thing up, I do ..yep it's d.t.a.d.n.) put him in plastic and freeze him, Not going in my Freezer with my food...I hear " it's freezing in there, you can't spread germs in a freezer. Oh just throw the darn lizard in the trash"!! Now I am procrastinating about picking up this lizard all day. Finally I get the lizard in a plastic bag, and Hannah is doing her whine thing, I'm in tears cause it died and sat it on the floor, in the bag all wrapped up, took its tank out to clean it, and Hannah and Honey start barking like there is no tomorrow. I come back in, and no bag on the floor, where did it go. What did you dogs do with this dead lizard...OMG...I turn around and I have a plastic bag runing across my floor. Lizard probably screaming in the bag, "Let me out, I'm not dead, I just like to play dead"! Things around here back to normal, Lizard's in tanks, dogs barking and whining at them, Shadow bird yelling at the dogs "No Bark", and I now can laugh at this.
