I can't believe it's been three years since I started my back to school posting!  Well, a new school year started for us today.  Here are pictures of my two legged kids before leaving this morning.  Alyssa is 12 now and in 7th grade.  Aaron is the tallest 8 year old in the district :o) and started 3rd grade today.  My cutie niece, Alex started Kindergarten and we surprised her by stooping by her school this morning.

So, lets see your kids standing on the porch, getting on the bus and in their new classroom!  I love to see how much your kids grow from year to year!

Your kids and niece are even cuter than your doodles and that's saying a lot. What a nice tradition you've started.
Aww, thanks. :o)
They've both grown a ton...what cuties! Soon I'll be sending Natalie off to school..YIKES!
Don't blink!! I promise, it will happen that fast!
So cute! Miss those days so much!

2nd grade, 3rd grade, Pre-K...and remedial basic homeschooling for Porter.

April, Your kids are adorable. I think your 8-yr-old is definitely taller than mine, though mine is eats like he is 6'2". I can only imagine what high school will be like.
YEA!! Finally someone else posted pictures!! Your kids are darling! Of course Porter is too! When Aaron was two the pediatrician told me that according to his growth chart, Aaron would be 6 ft 7 in. He is well on his way! :o)
Wow! 6'7" That is amazing. My 8 yr old has been in the 75 percentile for height and weight since he was 1-1 1/2, but he was the fattest infant you ever saw. He hit 25 lbs at 6 months, but because I was breastfeeding him the pediatrician just shrugged his shoulders. A nurse in my granddad's retirement home saw him around then and said, "Wooo weeee, look at that fat baby. He's making room for the next one." I totally didn't (and don't) get how that was supposed to work, but I was pregnant with my daughter a month later so I guess she was right.
I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing. As a teacher, I am on the other side and hate to say good bye to summer vacation. It is fun to see the smiling and eager faces.
Enjoy these years...they just fly by. You have a beautiful family.
What a beautiful family! Although mine have long since finished.....it seems like yesterday....sweet, sweet memories : )
