My 17 month old doodle is obsessed with some electrical outlets.  One of the covers cracked awhile ago and that got her attention.  It's been replaced but she still messes with it.  I put those child protection plugs in but she finds that a challenge and tries to paw and bite them loose.  I am terrified that she is going to electrocute herself.  Anyone have any advice on securing these?

The have outlet plates that are designed to be baby proof - don't know if they are dog proof. Knowing it was temporary, we blocked as many outlets as possible with furniture. Our house looked weird for a while, but it discouraged until they were forgotten.  What if you taped over some of the unused plates with painter's tape?

I haven't found any baby proof outlet plates and I've been looking.  We learned our lesson with tape when she was young.  Duct tape or anything like it just makes it a better game.

So far she hasn't messed with her favorite outlet now that it has bitter apple on it so we may be in good shape... until the next issue crops up.
