Noah and Sherlock went to their first professional photo shoot this past weekend! It was great having two dogs there, because when one got tired, the other could take a turn being in the spot light. We had a lot of difficulty getting pictures of Noah with both eyes open - he was so sleepy! The photographer quickly switched to a "sleep" scene for Noah and it worked a lot better.
What tricks do you use to get your dog's attention and to really get a great expression? After a while, no matter what type of bird calls, toys, treats the photographer used, both dogs looked pretty bored (evidence shown below). The session took about 1.5 hours with lots of play time for the dogs in between. I've noticed that Sherlock's ears and whole expression really perk up with the sound of plastic (this noise usually means yummy people food!) and Noah seems to be more interested in music!
