Picking our Labradoodle

Hey! I'm new to this site. We go to pick out our chocolate Labradoodle in a few weeks. It looks like some of the pups will have curly fleece and some will have soft wool. Our breeder will help us decide, but I'm wondering what your experiences have been w/ either coat. I'd love to see pics of your dogs to compare. I'm leaning toward the soft wool, as we have allergies/asthma. Thanks in advance!

Yes...our Parker chose me! He is less curly though so he sheds more than the curlier doods. I would think the tighter the curls, the less shedding (and less allergy/asthma issues). Though my cousin and godmother both have severe dog allergies and Parker doesn't bother them at all..even with his straighter coat.

Daisy is a Goldendoodle F1B so more poodle...she is a wool fleece, I have asthma and not affected by her. IMO the more poodle the less affect asthma/allergy wise but there is no sure fire guarantee, I think I got lucky.

Thanks for all of the advice last month. You all were absolutely right. Our doodle picked us over the weekend! We had no idea what to expect, but he made it clear that he was coming home w/ us. We pick him up on Saturday. He's a chocolate labradoodle w/ a fleece coat. We were around the mom and the puppies for hours and no asthma/allergy reactions. Yahoo!
