Can anyone tell me how to add the "ticker" to my page, I have the url but now I can't figure out how to post it.

It may be posted in Nancy, Ned, and Clancy's group Making Your Front Page. I'm at work --standing --at the Kiosk so I don't have access to figure it out and give directions.
Try that group and see if it helps.

I copied the url and pasted it into an empty spot on My Page. Believe me...I was surprised it worked :)

You have a text box on your page. Click "Edit" in the top right corner of your text box and paste it in that box.

Yes I did this but it remains the url number and letters but not the actual piece. Humpf!

On your profile page, click "Edit" on the Text Box.  As soon as that opens, click the HTML button that is just above the new text box.  Paste your code there and save.  It should work!

After seeing this thread I thought I'd again try to get this to work.  Nope.  No matter how many times I've copy/pasted, only the url shows up.  grrrr

I was going to message you so that the whole world didn't see what a moron I was BUT we have to be friends to message so here goes: I'm guessing you aren't putting the URL into the "TEXT" box.  On your main page, scroll all the way to the bottom to the last box indicating  it is the "TEXT" section THEN hit the edit button for that particular box.  I was hitting the first edit button I saw and this was the edit button for the LATEST ACTIVITY section.  Now everyone can giggle and poke fun of the blonde IT girl.  LOL

 

Hope this was the issue you were having as well and you can now get it to work.

ha, I've become the least sharpest knife in the box.  I did use the Latest Activity till I was ready to crush my computer.  I read the instructions over and over and over again.  For some reason I finally stumbled onto the Text box...... not sure I ever knew it was there.  However, I tried it many many times in the correct box and it didn't work until suddenly there it was.

Thanks for trying to help, it at least gave me hope to keep trying. :)
