Ace is the golden doodle of my doodles groomer Christine.  He has been missing for 3 months now.  He was spotted this past week in a neighborhood 30 miles away from where he went missing.

We have had to resort to a trapper to catch him.  Local groups do not have the resources for trapping him We have made multiple attempts to catch him.  He has been on the streets long enough to become scared of people. We started a you sharing account to raise funds for hiring a professional trapper, medical expenses and the balance will be donated to Doodle Rescue.  Please open your hearts if you can...

These pictures were taken by Lori (Daphne and Lucy) while we were out searching for him

Poor baby. :( I hope he gets home safe.

Done and glad to help! I am praying for this dog. Thanks, Elizabeth!

Poor guy!  Sending good thoughts...

My heart just breaks for Ace and his family. It's not much, but if we all pitch in, they will soon have enough to capture Ace and return him to his family. Please keep us updated.

How heartbreaking. Just donated. Hope Ace is soon back with his family.

This breaks my heart.  Will donate and share his story on www.Puppylovemag.com

Thats awesome Sarah! We would love that!

That was so nice of you Sarah! Looks great!

Done! I hope Ace is home soon!

I just want to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to read this and donate to the cause!. Even if you can't donate, that's OK. We still really appreciate all the support of our wonderful DK family and that is a donation too. Sometimes people on FB can be so cruel sometimes and it's nice to know that we can always come back here to escape that! Elizabeth and I are meeting with a trapper today so hopefully this will all be over with a happy ending very soon! Elizabeth has worked tirelessly to get Ace his happy ending. She truly is a dedicated Doodle lover! Both of us have seen firsthand how hard it is to be in rescue. Those of you who do this full time deserve nothing less than millions but I know that is not why you do it. We are in awe and have a tremendous renewed respect!

I've been following Ace's compelling story on Facebook.  If anyone is interested in reading about the efforts to help catch Ace and ultimately help him to recover from his three months of being out fending for himself alone, look for Saving Ace Doodle on FB.
