*************New photo of Stills taking a nap*****************************

I have a happy annoucement.  We are about to be the new parents of a male baby goldendoodle.  This all happened within the last 5 hours and we just got the phone call.  This is a rescue situation, very sad and our new little guy is only 7 weeks old, too young to be away from his mommy.  I need all the advice I can get.  I'll leave very early Monday for the drive to Atlanta to adopt Crosby, Stills or Nash.  I must not put Rooney in harms way till I find out the medical condition of our new puppy.  Rooney will go to our dog sitters till I get our new little guy and get him to our vet.  Please please please say a prayer that our new little guy is healthy.  I'll be in Atlanta (thank goodness my daughter lives there) Monday and Tuesday evening.  Wednesday and Thursday I have to stop in Ocala and I am looking for a good vet there to start the check up.  I had already planned to be there for a nephews graduation and I can't get out of that now.  Does anyone know of a good vet in the Ocala area?  This has happended so fast, yes we were on the wait list for a puppy from our breeder but my heart goes out to these puppies - they need us more than we need them.  Our paws are crossed.  I'm scared, excited and nervous.

Freakin adorable!
Donna did you look?  How cute is Nash.  Crosby and Stills are just as cute.  The mom is a full golden retriever and the dad is a goldendoodle, what does this make these pups?
Could we go so far as to say that Nash is looking very "Quincy"?  Ha ha - that still cracks me up!!!
He is looking very Quincy with a dash of Jane's Murphy thrown in, a winning combination.
I did look, he reminds me of a puppy Quincy, he is just so adorable, bet you can't wait to get your hands on him. What a lucky little boy to have found you and Rooney!

Oh Jane I am so excited for you my heart is pounding, If one of the parents is already a golden doodle and the other one is either a poodle or a retriever, it makes them an F1B, aka F1 back. Jack is an F1B and in theory they are supposed to shed less and be more hypo allergenic. I am so proud of you and so excited..

I wouldn't count on less shedding or hypo-allergenic with three Golden Retrievers out of four grandparents, lol. That's only the case with an F1B who has three poodle grandparents.
yes, you are right of course, I was thinking F1B that are bred back with a poodle like Jack was, I was so excited I am not thinking. I have no idea why I am so overly excited ..I think I am living vicariously!!!
Your pup will be an F1b Goldendoodle!
Congratulations Jane!  You know we are all here for you :)  It is so great that you are able to take such a young and innocent puppy into your home and heart.....  Good luck, can't wait to see the pics and hear about your new addition!!!!
Thanks, I'm actually in shock and crying now.  I just wasn't expecting this and I know that fate is putting this puppy - which ever one we get - in our family for a reason.  It will be a ton of work but everything happens for a reason and I feel lucky that they chose us as they try not to let out of state people adopt.  These puppies are with the Golden Retriever Rescue  in Atlanta.  I'm excited, scared and nervous but I know that I have all of you here to help me.

I just looked at the picture, so darn adorable!!!  Things happen for a reason, you will be so great, and you won't believe how much fun two will be.  Rooney will teach that little one soooo much :)
