I know that these doodles will find great furever homes through our site and our rescue contacts. I cried when I read this and saw all of those beautiful doodles !!!!!!!!!!!!! Please help. I am sending this retriever rescue group a great big thank you for taking them all in.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the rescurers! They are all angels!
If my DH agreed...I would apply for one of these babies in a heartbeat...sighhhh
I agree, but since I could not adopt one and am soooo thankful to this rescue, I sent them a donation to help out. It would be nice if doodlekisses could do the same. OR maybe to show your appreciation, send them a special thank you.
Karen - I'll send something - can you post the mailing address please.
AW, thank you so much. The address is DVGRR 60 Vera Cruz Rd., Rainholds, Pa. 17569 I know they will appreciate any amount. THANKS again Make sure you designate for the doodles and let them know you are a member of doodlekisses.
Thank you for posting. My check is in the mail this morning to the DVGRR along with a letter thanking them for resucing the doodle puppies.
God bless you, these doodle babies are so fortunate to have been saved from this money hungry monster. Thank you
Thank you for posting this Karen. DVGRR is about 40 miles from me but they have a wonderful reputation in this area. They are very careful about matching people and dogs and they have a lot of great events. I went to one with a friend. Adopters stay in touch through the events and training classes and form long standing friendships with people and dogs. I'm sending out an email to my small network of people. Unfortunately, I can't take another dog right now but I'm sure they'll find great homes for these adorable little ones. I urge DKers to send them a note of thanks and/or a small donation.
What a great day for these pups!!!
Here Here, I would hope that ALL doodle owners would send them a GREAT BIG THANK YOU. It is nice to hear from someone that is familiar with this group and great to know they will find great homes for these babies. Wouldn't it be great if someone from this group would be able to adopt one or two or three </;-) Yes, I feel bad I can not either, but due to health problems I am not able.
Cheryl, some members here were wondering about the breeding stock the puppy mill used. Wondering what happened to them. I have sent a message to my friend, that informed me of this, and asked him if he could find out. If he is unable to would it be possible for you to contact them and see what happened to them? I will let you know what I hear. Thanks in advance
Yes,I can try.
I'm so glad these babies are in the hands of a reputable rescue organization. I was impressed with the strict adoption requirements, and hopefully they will all be placed in wonderful homes. Not as wonderful as Stuart's maybe, but wonderful nonetheless, lol!
Many of the purebred parent breed rescues take doodles; The Southeastern Poodle rescue groups frequently have them, as well as many of the Golden and Lab rescues. There's a Great Dane rescue in the Pacific NW that took in over 100 doodles some years back.
It is tough for breed specific rescues to take mixes of their breeds. So many times, people try to pass a mixed breed dog off as "part Golden" or whatever, when there may not be any Golden in the dog at all. My GSD rescue group gets a call a day from someone trying to rehome a "Shepherd mix" that looks basically like a pitbull or a mastiff. One couple tried to relinquish a wolf-hybrid to us. Breed specific rescues have adoption policies in place that are tailored to their breed, and the potantial adopters are also looking for that particular breed.
Thank you, DVGRR!
