poo hanging from his butt??

hi im wondering can anyone help me .. we are having to bath sooty every second day cause he has poo hanging off the end of his butt?? i know your not supposed to wash them alot because of their hair.. but has anyone any other suggestions of what to do about this??

Karen, I figured you must have a perfect dog! :o) I was just wondering about the penis hair sprout! It is getting long and I have been wanting to cut it! I am so giggling at this right now!

I had to be told about the prepuce hair by Jack's specialist; he's my first male dog. He would have told me himself, but he doesn't speak People. Hmmm...maybe he's not perfect! :o)

Trim and use unscented baby wipes. Don't skimp on generic brand either - Buy the good ones - they work better.
But now that we regularly trim Peri's areas, it is not a problem....

I think it's all been said - we, too, eliminated the Dingleberries once Penny started getting the "sanitary trim."

By the way, my hubby calls them, "Doodads." LOL

We actually have to have the sanitary trip done every four weeks. With no hair there, the area stays pretty free of dingle berries. If not, Guinness will take it upon himself to "wipe his own butt" on the living room carpet when he comes in...totally disgusting.

Gosh tell me about it! I know this is gross, but everytime after Remington poops we wet down a Kleenex and wipe his butt to prevent the problem before it starts! The lengths we go to for our doodles :)
