Power to the Parti's!! A DK calendar breakthrough!!

The new DK calendars are here as many of you know and I am so excited that partidoodles Rio and Hops are a part of the Lotsa doodles calendar!! Or is Hops an aussiedoodle? He is gorgeous!! 

Hops and Rio  are featured in March of 2013...I have been teasing Adina about the LACK of partidoodles on the previous calendar pages and lobbying for more, but maybe there just haven't been many partidoodle pictures submitted! Joanne's ( of Joanne and Spud) late and great Star was in last year's calendar, but I THINK that is all?

It is soooo much easier to get a cute shot of a lighter colored doodle as they stand out against the background and their eyes do not "disappear" into the darkness of the coat!

Rio is a black and white parti and he is tough to photograph as the black comes out too dark when the white part of his coat shuts down the aperture--and usually his coal black eyes just look like holes in his head! But I managed to get a few good shots--and I am so proud of my parti boy!! I went thru all the calendars and he is the only parti doodle except for Hops--who seems to have his own category of colors and it is a lovely coat!!

I hope we see more partis in future calendars!! Here is Rio's pic--If any one else wants to display their winning photo here go right ahead! That will be fun!

Thanks for remembering my Starlit.  My calender from last year is still on January   :)  Yep, all year, and it stays on the television as January. 

I wonder how many of us, keep the calender on one month the entire year?  LOL  I think that is why we  need to buy more than one at a time.  One for the correct month, and one for dog
