Well, the famous Phil, on Wednesday, did not see his shadow and according to tradition, this now means we are in for an early Spring. For those of you who read my blog about our Groundhog day, you know folks who live in PA are a sucker for Groundhogs :) Our little guy was not as smart as Phil and for all we know, could have been Priscilla, but we are hoping Phil is correct. Who is ready for an early Spring???

Here is the link to my old post called Groundhog Day.

Laurie, you should post the link to your old discussion that refers to the window well Phil.   It is worth reading again!  Many newbies might enjoy this great story too.  And, it would be timely.

Joanne, I am hoping this is where you want me to post this old discussion. I will post it in the discussion too. Thanks. Laurie

OH, Laurie!  I DO remember this!  How is that basement window?
Jane, The article just said Phil and his handler. Wouldn't that be a great job?
I AM!!!

LOL Laurie!! I vote for spring!! And your groundhog day was way more entertaining than Phil!

:)) I have found my tulip magnolia tree to be more accurate, but in this case I hope that Phil is right. LOL
Early Spring??  It was 67 at my house today - pretty springlike if you ask me!!
Long Island HAL supposedly SAW his shadow... don't know HOW that was possible when we had an ice storm with thick clouds... I think it was the shadow made from all the camera crews!  I'll go with PHIL... these "knock-off" groundhogs don't know a real shadow when they see one!  LOL
Yay!!!
