Puppy Classes in Los Angeles area

Does anybody have a recommendation for a great positive puppy class in the LA area? We're on the westside, but will travel a bit for a good class.

We're looking for positive training and a good amount of time for puppy socialization.

We use the trainer at Greatful Dogs in El Segundo. She does private classes there, she will come to your home and we just started Kai in a puppy class through the City of Manhattan Beach. We really like her and so does Kai.

I so WISH I could go to Sirius classes. But we're in the LA area and I think they are only up in the Bay. Actually, I think I"ll contact them and see if they have any recommendations down here. Thanks for the idea.

I'm also looking for puppy classes in LA. I looked at the Siriuspup.com/ website and only saw locations in Northern California. Are there also classes in LA? I live on the westside a few miles east of Santa Monica. Thanks!

I called the Sirius Puppy people and they referred me to the APDT website to look for trainers with the same philosophy.

I've been going through the trainers on that site and should be able to post a little bit more info in a few days. We're in MDR, so close to you. I'll let you know what I learn. I would love to meet up for puppy playdates when we get our guy. Should be in the next month.

Thank you so much Kathy. I'll contact them tomorrow. I was looking at the classes in Manhattan Beach and I think we missed it. Not sure when they will start the next session, but hope it works for us. Looking forward to hearing about your experience with the MB classes.
