Well, I'm guessing that your pup will be bigger than his parents but that just means there will be more of him to love :-)
My new pup was 8 lbs at 8 weeks old, her parents were 50 & 65 lbs and I'm expecting her to be about 50 lbs. I know of a few pups who were 12/13 lbs at 11 wks old and these pups should be 40-50 lbs (I'm on a facebook group with other goldendoodle puppy owners). I think that my boy Webster was 13 lbs at 8 weeks old (I don't remember exactly, but that is stuck in my head) and he's a BIG boy at 88lbs!!! Webster's mom is 55lbs and his dad is 73lbs so Webster is an over achiever.
When your pup is 4 months old, you can predict his weight by doubling it and adding 5-10lbs. Bobby's weight right now doesn't mean that he'll be as huge as Webster but I would guess that he'll be 50-55lbs as an adult.
Luna is a mix of a ~20 lb. mini poodle and ~55 lb. golden
At 9 weeks she was about 8 lbs.
12 weeks 12 lbs.
Fully grown 35 lbs.
11 weeks 18 pounds
20 weeks (Today!) 34 pounds
Estimate 60-70 pounds
Our Charlotte is evidence that you can't always go by the parents' weights to predict the eventual adult size of a puppy. If my memory serves me correctly, Charlotte's mother weighed 42 pounds and her father weighed 36. Charlotte is now fully grown and weighs a little less than 24 pounds. Go figure!
