- About Me:
- I am a retired Marine, who has loved dogs ever since I was kid and would go chasing rabbits with my uncles beagles. After serving 25 Years in the Marine Corps and anothe 6 years in the Federal Government, I have slowed down now by working for a Defense Contractor.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We will be receiving a male from the recent litter that was fathered by Levi. We are going to name him Beckley, since he was born in Beckley WVA.
My fiancee and I currently have a Beachon Poodle (Rooney). In Febuary we had to put our Minature Golden down for kidney failure. That was a shock and a big loss to our family.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- My fiancee is eligible for a Therapy Service Dog and we both have always loved the Golden Doodle.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We are looking forward to training Beckley and growing with him and having him a part of our family. Beckley will be going on walks and will have a large play area where he will be free to roam.
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- We currently have a private groomer for Rooney and will be getting Beckley done by her
- Relationship Status:
- Engaged
- Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.)

Beckley advances to next phase of Service Dog Training

On Tuesday, Beckley advanced to the next phase of his Service Dog Training with his first vist inside of a Store (Home Depot). Our Trainer, Nancy Dryden took Beckley for over an hour into the store and practiced his commands and getting him use to be in those type of environments. At 18 Weeks Beckley is progressing very well in the program that is being ran by Paws4Vets. …
