Anybody have a recommendation for good 6 foot reflective leash that shows up really well in the dark?
With JD slowing down and the early darkness setting in, crossing streets in my poorly lit neighborhood at night is making me nervous. I looked at my local pet supply store, but the ones they had were either too short (4 feet won't cut it for us) or they only had a bit of reflective stitching that probably wouldn't even show up until a car was on top of us, lol.
Thanks for any recommendations.

What about this one? It has a lifetime warranty. I have no experience with it though.
Kurgo is a good brand. I'm going to look into this, maybe read some reviews. Thanks, Wendy.
Karen-
Ive bought a few items from this brand, and they work well for us when we run/walk in the dark. They have both reflective collars and leashes....
Karen,
Have you thought about wearing a reflective vest? That would help as well.
I hadn't thought of that, Laura. Maybe they make reflective vests for dogs, lol?
they do! Hanna has one of those too... She is a bit of a "gear-hound" ; )

Im pretty sure there are reflective vests at places like cabelas or other hunting supply places too... But I like Ruffwear ones : )
Thanks, Marni, I'll check that out.
So the Niteize collar that Debbie posted is the same company as this one that you posted, Marni. I looked at their leash, and it's only 5 ft. long, but I did find this one, which is 6 ft and is rechargeable: http://www.illumiseen.com/
I think I might try it.
Thoughts, anyone?
I looked up the Illumiseen leash...I really like it, looks to be very visible, weather resistant and has different modes. I think I will also look into getting one of these. So many good suggestions on this post for keeping our furbabies safe at night.
Debbie, I got the Illumiseen leash today and tried it out tonight. I got the green one. I love it! It's very bright, visible from a distance, and in the continuous mode, it didn't seem to bother Jack. And if it did, you can even turn off the light on the part closer to the dog and just have the top half illuminated. It came with two USB chargers, and it seems very well made.
I don't walk at night in the winter any more, I can't take a chance on slipping, especially now that JD is having some mobility issues. Just need something to light us up for now until there's ice/snow on the ground. And you do remember that JD is the President of the Naked Doodles Club, right? LOL
