Happy 6th Birthday to Toby!!!! How is Toby?? It seems like I never have time to come on DK anymore, but I wanted to wish all the 3/4/08 siblings a happy birthday!! Kachi is doing well. It makes me kind of sad that he is already 6 years old!! I hope all is well with you and your family! I hope Toby has a great birthday!!!!!

Thanks or getting back to me. So sorry to hear Toby has seizures also. Cooper is actually our second dog that has epilepsy. We had a black lab Mudgy for 14 years. She has them also. They started when she was about 3-4 like Cooper. Hers didn't seem as severe as Coops. His seem worse and he has a pretty Long what's called postictal phase and confusion after. He had only had 2 so far about 7 weeks apart. He is now on phenobarb about 80mg twice daily. He is about 60lbs. He did not start the phenobarb till after the second seizure. His levels are therapeutic so hope it works. Mudgey seemed to1 every few months but I don't remember seeing any in the last couple years of her life. She lived a long good life. Cooper still has the same personality. Very much a talker. I've never had such a verbal dog. Quite a personality. I would definitely get another one. Oh, his seizures happened when he was sleeping. What about Toby? Interested to hear about his seizures and meds. Kristi

Hi Debbie!! Happy Happy Birthday to Toby! I can't believe our boys are 5 years old!!! I hope all of you AND Toby are doing fine. I'm sure he is like Kachi, and has mellowed out quite a bit! Kachi is such a good boy- still has a stubborn streak that does show up every now and again, and definitely a good watch dog (a little too good actually. He barks at every thing that moves!!), but we love him so much! Let me know how Toby is doing! Take care!!
