Has he been scratching, biting or licking himself in these areas? Butt scooting? Dark red discoloration of the paws is a common sign of inhalant allergies, but this is the wrong time of year for that in most places.
This is very, very common from licking and yeast overgrowth. There is nothing serious about it but you can search DK and find lots of discussion, and possible remedies.
They can do lot of the damage at night when you're sleeping.
the saliva discolors the fur...my cream doodle has several areas like that. the beard discolors from it too.
Gavin has had this when licking a certain area. The vet says it is yeast growth. Gav was put on anti-biotics for a different issue and it took care of it.
I am just going to throw out that darker "pink areas" are normal for a cream colored doodle with apricot ears. My Lyric has "pink" elbows, is pink between her toes on her muzzle and has some on her back too. It is her normal color. But maybe for you this is not the same thing.
My Jaxon has similar markings. While he has always had most of them, some do occur if there was hair loss at that particular site (ie. area shaved for an i.v.). Nothing to be alarmed about, but defs get checked if it concerns you.
