Shannon, good luck on making this exciting decision.
Hi Shannon ~ welcome to DK. I am not familiar with either of these breeders, but I hope other members who are will chime in Good luck in find the doodle of your dreams. Welcome to Doodle Kisses!
▼Although my breeder is not close to you, she ships puppies all over the world. It is MOSS CREEK DOODLES and her name is Kelli Bailey. Her website is www.mosscreekdoodles.com. I have a 9 year old goldendoodle, an F 1b , and she is a registered therapy dog. We have been doing pet therapy for 7 years and she has the most delightful personality ever. She was very calm as a puppy and has remained that way. I cannot say enough good things about Kelli and her breeding. This weekend we are going to the annual Doodle Romp in Orlando, Florida and there are people coming from all over the country to attend. There should be about 150+ doodles and their owners for the event. All the dogs are so well behaved and are a tribute to Kelli. You can go on her website to see the Doodle Romp pictures next week on the Doodle Forum, which is a site for owners to ask questions, etc. The Doodle Forum is a wonderful tool for new owners and the older owners keep up that way. We are ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY. You cannot go wrong with a Moss Creek goldendoodle.

I just put a deposit on a labradoodle, cause I would love one by summer. The mini goldoodles at Moss Creek are wait listed for 6 months down, so that wouldn't work for me. Being new as well, I had put a deposit down on a Goldendoodle- but the breeder kept going in circles about testing, business changes, puppies are tested. BUT are the parents OFA certified. No answer. I finally went with an Australian Labradoodle breeder that is ALAA certified, and does all the tests that are necessary for the parents. Yippee! No run around any longer. Great family home, socialization, even a dog behaviorist! And lifetime support. Spend time on the phone asking questions. Make sure they genetically test the parents. You probably will have to go on a waitlist for a mini Goldendoodles. I decided on a labradoodle then. I owned a poodle mix 40 yrs. Ago that looked just like one. One of the best, sweetest, incredibly smart (she could have been a therapy dog for sure) and love labradoodles too. Seems like the Goldendoodles are more in demand these days after calling around. Moss Creek
(above) seems wonderful. They are a breeder that cares and tests the parents genetics as well. If waiting is an option, then get wait listed on a great breeder, and make sure ALL your questions get answered. (Not our business partner didn't believe in testing so we aren't there yet, but will get there).... Best of Luck to you! Oh my current dog in my pic is that sweet Golden Retriever, our Senior guy.
