Pittsburgh's K9 Officer Rocco was stabbed during his duty by the wanted man. He bravely fought 2 days through the surgery and blood transfusion.

Nothing I ever hear about dogs breaks my heart as much as hearing that a police K9 has been killed in the line of duty. Nothing. Not even puppy mill horror stories. 

These dogs truly lay down their lives for their partners. 

RIP, Rocco. You earned your wings.
