Ok...don't judge that my dog is bored and its my fault, I already know this! I had to watch my 2 nephews on Saturday and now Sam's bed has a hole where he is pulling out the foam stuffing! Needless to say, we need a new bed! I have been thinking about getting him a bigger one anyways, so maybe this was him telling me he was running out of room! He likes the ones with a bolster to rest his head and big enough to stretch out. Any ideas where to get a good quality bed for a good price? I got the biggest one with a bolster I could find at Petco when I bought this one. What are everyone's doodles favorites? Thanks so much!

I have two really big bolster beds for my dogs and I got them at a Home Goods store (http://www.homegoods.com/locator/)  Don't know if you have one close by or not but it's worth a look.  Each bed was $35.00 and they are big enough for an 80lb dog (Stanlee - right) and a 95lb dog (Cooper - left), each.  It's a horrilbe picture BUT you get the idea of the size of the beds.

I've never seen a bolster bed before - can you wash them?

The beds we have have removable covers that zipper off.  When washing the covers I take the beds and lay them in the Florida sun for a good airing out.

We had this bed with our previous dog and she just loved it. (So did we) We will be getting another one for our puppy soon.

We buy beds from Costco.  They don't always have the same kind, but usually really good prices.  They ship from online ordering, I believe, but of course you have to be a member.

We also have the beds from Costco but what's funny is that I bought one of those memory foam bath mats from Costco to put underneath the dog bed in our motorhome so it wouldn't slide around while we were driving and she loves it.  She takes off the dog bed and sleeps on the bath mat instead.  I'm thinking of putting one in our bedroom instead of the dog bed as it definitely takes up less room and I can step on it instead of walking around a dog bed!

I just recently bought a "Donut Bed" for Rosie and  Deni.  I bought a size Large so they both fit in it comfortably and they both like it a lot...I found it thru Hayneedle Store online, they have a wide variety and selection of Dog Beds...prices vary depending on what you are looking for...you also may want to check on Amazon....

Thanks for the responses! I am on the hunt and will head to Home Goods soon! If not I will order one online...why are they so pricey? Geesh! However, I would pay good money for a good quality bed that he loves!

I love Homegoods. I bought a twin sized fitted sheet and have it fitted on the dog bed. I feel that it helps protect the bed if they are either digging or trying to chew at it.

OOOO, good idea.  And as I change out my bedding/comforters/curtains/etc. on a regular basis, the dog beds will always be color coordinated!  YOU ROCK!!!

Exactly!  haha Since I have twin boys, I have one in the living room corner and the other in our bedroom.  I am a notorious at switching out all my bedding, etc. too!

Lol marnie just saw this! I only have dark grey and am not color coordinated. I do this bc Zoe likes to dig in bens bed and she will rip the shearling. But glad u like the idea to match all your decor :) I wish i was more like u. It will be loose but I just tuck it all under and it looks like a perfect fit!
