Save the Slideshow-New Themes

Lets get those cameras fired up! Come on guys, it doesn't take long to tag a few photos that you probably already posted. Time for some new themes.

 

Nov 13- Favorite Calendar submissions... tag= calendar17     Those of you that submitted photos for this years calendar can tag them for the slideshow. Whether or not they were selected, choose your best one and show it to us. We may or may not know what the final selections are yet.

Nov 27- Fall Foliage... tag= leaves16     Who has photos of your Doodle in those beautiful fall leaves? Or for those of us down south, Doodles with pumpkins or apples or just about anything resembling the Fall season. Doodles with a pumpkin spice latte?? Lol!

Dec 18 - Winter/Christmas Doodles... tag= winter16   Do you have those beautiful winter scenes that we do NOT have in Florida? Please tag your photos. These can be Christmas themed (or any other religion), or not. Perhaps you dress your doodles in goofy outfits or maybe they are naked. I welcome them all! Winter is my favorite season and I so wish my girls had some snow to frolick in!

Jan 1- Happy New Year!... tag= new17  Please tag photos of your Doodles with anything "new". Could be a Doodle in freshly fallen snow, or a new favorite toy they got for Christmas (or any other time). Maybe a fresh new haircut or perhaps a "new" friend or a photo of your Doodle celebrating New Years Eve. 

Jan 15- Dirty Doodles... tag= dirty17    This one is pretty self explanatory. I know those of you in those winter states always complain about the mud that comes with the pretty. Here is your chance to "show off" that dirty little booger!

Jan 29- Doodle close-ups...tag= faces17   Kind of a different take on Doodle noses. Just show me those beautiful faces!

Feb 12- Doodle Love... tag= Love17   In honor of Valentine's Day, Show me photos of your Doodle with the love of his/her life. This will include your Doodle with any of his humans or furry siblings.

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PHOTO INTO THE SHOW?

If you like visuals, use her tutorial.  Otherwise, try the instructions below...

1-- Upload your photo to the main photo page or your own page.

2-- In the 'tag' section of the photo put in the tag that corresponds with the slide show theme (see list above).

It's quite easy, actually.

I won't have any snow picture (in Southern CA), but looking forward to seeing lots of snow doodle pics! :D. Lori, it's going to be tough for me to get a fake snow pic. Lol

Wait! I got one!!! Cooper just got groomed so he looks nice and white. Lol I had to shave him down to 1 inch coat because he was getting so matter underneath. Tried brushing it off but it took forever to get to some of it. I believe adult coat is coming in maybe??? Anyway, hope this one qualifies! Lol

Cooper looks like a "young" Skadi.  Luckily Skadi's fur doesn't mat...however, Elli on the other hand has to be combed out at least once or twice a week.  It's my "Labor of Love"

You know, it's funny every time I look at Cooper lately, I see a little Elli in him LOL. I think it's because his legs seemed to have gotten longer and his head bigger after the cut. Lol He's all puffed up in that picture, so nothing like Elli there. That's awesome Skadi doesn't mat! Cooper never did until just lately :( I'm not sure if it's because I got lazy fully brushing him lately or the adult coat coming in or maybe both. So now I'm back to brushing him everyday even with the short cut. You're right, labor of love, lots of labor of love! Lol

I know I went in a couple of times to find what the tags were and had no idea how to find the discussion. These tag discussions used to be kept under the Announcement for member discussions and it was easier to find. There are far fewer of those discussions to wade through and makes it easier to find for old folks like me :) Thanks for saving the slideshow.
