I just don't want to let this day pass without saying a prayer for all those who died in the attack on 9/11 and for the loved ones left behind. That date will be forever etched in our hearts and I am sure each of us can remember what we were doing that day when we first heard the news.  Take a minute to do a kind deed today in honor of all of the victims of 9/11. Hug a loved one or just count your blessings!  I will never understand this kind of violence and how people get to this point that hurting innocent people benefits their causes in any way.

Each September 11th since that horrible day leaves me feeling the same sense of complete disbelief.    We visited my step son in Brooklyn last weekend and as I stood out on his balcony and looked across the river to Manhattan I felt such an overwhelming sense of pride in our country.   We have much to be grateful for.   I love your post Laurie....thank you for the timely reminder.
