Hello Again!
Today, all of a sudden, Bella has pooped(I don't think I should even call it that) liquid since the afternoon. I know there is a lot of discussions about this, but each dog is different, and I don't want to think she has Giardia and start going crazy, if she only has an upset stomach. (I did search though)
Here is what she is like today: Normal Bella:) No acting weird, she is just acting normal. Right now she is sleeping, (it is after 8:30 and that's pretty normal) after another liquid poop. I think she pooped 6 times since the afternoon. She went for two walks, ate all her food, (she portions it herself throughout the day and ate less then she usually does in the afternoon, but ate it all) drank about two and a half bowls of water, and played like she normally does.
At this point I am not super worried because it just started, but I don't know when its going to end.
Question: Should I feed her chicken and rice tomorrow, or something else?
Thanks!!
P.S. she has been a little more mushy than usual... That seems normal(there's that word again!) since she does have a tummy problem:)

I would do chicken and rice until her poops start to harden up. I do this whenever Orwell starts to have an upset stomach because he tends to swallow his kibble like pills and has thrown up after a meal from excitement. If things do not improve after a couple of days, I would take her to the vet.
I like chicken and sweet potatoes better than chicken and rice; the sweet potatoes are more nutritious and the added fiber may help. Use a 50/50 mixture. If things aren't a LOT better in the next 24 hours, I'd see that vet.
I agree with Karen to not wait longer than 24 hours without lots of improvement to see the vet. Like little kids, dogs can get very ill quickly.
I'm hoping she has a better day, but if not I agree with calling the vet.
Thank You Everyone! If things don't improve, I will bring her to the vet. She went twice in the middle of the night.(outside) I 've been trying to give her water, but she doesn't want it when I give it to her, but she drinks it later. I am cooking her potato now:) I don't have any chicken though:(
Until you can get the chicken, (hopefully soon), give her a scrambled egg. She needs some protein. And encourage water drinking, since the diarrhea will dehydrate her quickly. This does sound like it could possibly be giardia.
I just gave her the sweet potato, and when she is hungry again, I will give her eggs. She just went about twenty mins. ago, and it was formed, but still mushy, so I think she is getting better. I will try to make her drink LOTS of water:)
Oh, and I also gave her banana yesterday, and that seemed to help:)
She does need protein, though, and some calories. :)
I would say a vet visit is in order.
Hello! She only went twice today, and all were formed! Not solid, but normal color, and a little firmer than soft serve. I am going to make her an egg:) (her fav:)
I am glad she seems to be improving. Thanks for the update. Let us know tomorrow how she is.
