Hello, I know this is really for doodles, but I assume many of you are also cat owners too. My cat has been sneezing for a few days but in the last few hours started acting lethargic and has excessive drooling. He also seems a little bit wobbly when walking and is acting out of character. He normally does not want to be held and or touched very much but is acting very clingy right now. I am not sure if I need to get him to an emergency clinic or if he is able to wait until tomorrow. Anybody who knows anything about cats out there? I would appreciate any input.

Wobbly and drooly does not sound good. If he were my cat I would take him right away. I hope he does okay. Please keep us updated.

I do not have cats, but I can tell you wobbly and drooling is a bad sign.. Please don't wait.. When I was an emergency room nurse I always would say to my patients, you can never be really sorry for being to cautious only sorry for not being cautious enough......

Best to see what is going on right away...

I would take him in.  Good luck and keep us posted.
If you haven't taken him to emergency by now I would encourage you to do so! Please keep us posted and I hope he is okay!
I don't have a cat now but did have one for 16 years.  And, I agree with everyone -- take him to the vet as soon as possible.  Drooling and wobbly are not good signs.
Oh dear, awaiting an update on this and hoping for good news.
I'd get him to the emergency clinic right away, Katherine. Cats suck at saying "I don't feel good", it's a species imperative to hide weakness at all cost, so by the time we see a problem it's typically time to head to the vet. I'll be thinking about you today; please keep us posted!
Oh poor Kitty! update us when you can please! I hope all is ok.
For sure take him in. Don't wait, this lethargic and wobbling not to mention drooling sounds serious enough not to wait. I do hope he's ok . Hugs from Spunky our cat!
My cat acted like that and it turned out to have been a stroke.

A few years ago one of my kitties came down with vestibular syndrome.  He became wobblie and acted like he was drunk.  It is caused from an inflammation in the middle ear, kind of like sea sickness.  With steroids and antiinflammatories he got better... It is nothing serious but poor kitty was miserable...

Hope your little fur baby is going to be OK...make sure you update us...  Kitty prayers your way!!

Katherine, please keep us posted.
