sick puppy - not sure if there is anything I can to help him

Hello, My name is Joni and I just purchased Parker from a breeder in Western Maryland. Yesterday, he was eating and running around like a normal puppy. Today, he is throwing up yellow bile and not eating or playing. He has been throwing up since this morning. I'm worried about him since is not drinking or eating. He has his first puppy visit with the vet tomorrow. Is there anything I should be doing? He was eating a lot of grass as well.

 

We purchased him on Thursday and he has been so happy eating and playing with the grandchildren.  He has been sleeping all day.  The only time he gets up is to throw up.  We're concerned he ate a poison plant. 

 

Any advice would be helpful.....thank you

I hope Parker recovers quickly!  I also urge you to contact the breeder and let them know.  All puppies could be at risk.  If you haven't already make sure you clean anywhere Parker has been.  The Parvo virus can live for quite a long time in the home.

I'm sorry to hear about Parker! I hope he is getting better and am so glad you joined DK and got the advice to rush him to the hospital. My thoughts are with you. Please update us when you can.
