Rest assured, someone will read it, lol.
Are these health issues, behavioral issues, training issues, grooming issues, food issues, etc? We have groups here that deal with specific topics such as training, food, health, etc. There's a Puppy Madness group, too. And there are already thousands of discussions about just about every issue anyone could have with a doodle puppy, both in the groups and here in the main forum, so you might want to do a search and see if some of the info/advice you need is already here.
But by all means, feel free to post a new discussion. :)
If you put them all here, you might number them as well so they are easier to respond to.
Em, I am not a member of the Puppy Madness group, but I just looked at your discussion there and I can tell you that none of the behavioral issues have any relationship whatsoever to his food. If you would like some help with food and digestive issues, you can post a discussion about that in the Food group and we'll be happy to help you, but unless he is/was being fed a food that doesn't meet the basic nutritional standards, which would be pretty hard to find, his food has absolutely no bearing on anything you mentioned other than the digestive issues.
Hi Karen, I'd be interested in what you think of the Canagan food. It's English so not available in the US as far as I'm aware. https://www.canagan.co.uk/contact.html
I looked at the other day when this was first posted.
It's going to be available in the U.S., there's already a U.S. website up, but no stores that are yet carrying it.
What I saw on the U.K. website looked good, but of course you have much tougher laws over there regarding what can and can't be in food, even pet foods, than we have here. The sourcing of the food sold here is going to be different, so I'll need to verify it.
Thanks Karen, I can get it here. Just concerned whether the omega 3.6 ratio was ok. It's a lot cheaper than Orijen, about $40 difference for the big bag. Orijen is very expencive due to the delivery costs from Canada but I wouldn't change on price alone if it wasn't as good.
I looked at the three dry formulas for "regular" dogs. :)
The Omega 6:3 content on the salmon formula is outstanding. On the other two, it's not as good, but it's fine, better than most foods. I'd say if you can save significant $, you might try it, much as I love Champion.
It will be interesting to see how the U.S. pricing compares to Orijen. Sourcing looks like it's going to be North American.
Thanks Karen, I will give the Salmon formula a try. It is a serious saving.
Oh, and BTW, I love the word "stockist", lol. Never saw or heard that one before, and I was an Eng. Lit major first time around.
I use the word 'stockist' every single day in work Lol
Here, it's "retailer". :)
