Silly tech question

I  am technologically challenged to say the least. I tried to post my first blog earlier in honor of Chloe's birthday and it says "waiting for approval" It's been over an hour. Is this normal? Should I delete it and put it in as a discussion? I also put in two new photos of her.

no need to delete and post as a discussion.  All blogs are approved before they show up online and sometimes it takes a bit before Adina gets to them but it should show up soon.  This is a topic that is better as a blog rather than a discussion.  Discussions in the main forum are best for things were you need to get feedback or suggestions.

Thanks for your response. I thought a blog was more appropriate too, but I would like it posted today as it is her birthday!  Since I had never posted one before, I didn't know you could do it ahead of time.
