HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PHOTO INTO THE SHOW?

Good question! Spud's mom, Joanne, put together a great visual tutorial here: Slideshow HowTo

If you like visuals, use her tutorial.  Otherwise, try the instructions below...

1-- Upload your photo the main photo page.

2-- In the 'tag' section of the photo put in the tag that corresponds with the slide show theme (see list above).

It's quite easy, actually.  If you prefer to submit photos via your smart phone, be sure you put in the correct email address.  The email address should have "ning" somewhere in it.  If not, it won't make it here.

I was even thinking a DK logo with the information. No photo, or at least not always. I'm not like LAURIE and have to have my own slideshow each week. LOL  

Thoughts? Suggestions.  I was also going to add a link to HOW TO tagging for those who want and need to know how.

I like having an actually photo in the announcement--grabs our attention, I think, to see a cute or funny doodle image.

I've been waiting a long time for a theme for this image.  After smiles, how about funny doodle expressions, doodle boredom, doodle tongues . . . not sure what really works.

The problem with less often is that I still have to do something with the front page slide show ... or take it away between times.  Otherwise it will be the same photos over and over and over.

The thing about weekly, it gets folks involved and something to look forward to each week!

It got me involved in DK a long time ago... Oh ya, 600 BC... (OS - rock and chisel format  for those who asked about my operating system )

I do agree that looking at the doodle slide show is very relaxing and enjoyable.  But also it is very challenging to keep up with possible submitting each week.  Every other week sounds great to me.  I just appreciate that there is a doodle slide show.  It is fun and creative.
