Today, we just got our first taste of snow in good ol' Minnesota.  As I walked Albus outside this morning to do his business -- half-asleep at 6:30, mind you -- he gets a sudden burst of the zoomies and proceeded to almost yank my arm out of its socket.  I wish I had a video of it, it was so darn cute!

After that ordeal, he just came inside to rest...

Also, whenever there's a layer of fresh snow on our deck, sometimes he'll get the zoomies on it.  Or he gets confused and pees right on the deck, LOL :)

Do your doodles do anything funny when snow first starts falling?

I wish we had snow. We have to drive Gracie to the mountains to find it and then it only snows a couple time during the winter and the traffic is so bad because everyone goes up to play in it. It is usually melted in a day or two. Gracie has only been in the snow two times in her three years but boy, she loved it!!! Zoomies all over the place! I had the biggest smile just watching her. It makes me really happy when I see her having fun!
We got our first snow days ago here in Utah. Since then it's been frost or snow every morning. I'm so excited! Darwin has been more selective about where he does his business, he's confused at all the wet white stuff on the ground... Ha ha. I can't wait until it's a deep snow so we can let him go run through it!

The really funny thing that Darwin does in the snow is shovel it into his mouth. He will put his head down, mouth open, and run through the snow, scooping it as he goes. Then he chomps it down and repeats the process. It cracks me up!
YES!!!!! Allie does this too! She puts her whole head under the snow, snorts and then has snow balls all over her whole face!!!! The downside to this is that it takes us 45 minutes to dry her off!!!!
Woo Hoo!! We had our 1st "spritz" of snow last Friday, no accumulation tho. I can't WAIT for snow for Banjo!
I have a feeling he'll get "confused" too about WHERE to go. Have fun Albus!!!
I have a feeling that Murph is going to LOVE the snow - Guinness could "take it or leave it" (so could his Mom). I hate the thought of it because Murph and I are training every day (and will be for quite a while), and it's just going to make things more complicated. I think we're a few weeks away, since it was in the 70's here yesterday.
Oh Jane, you are going to be in for it!! Just looking and hearing about Murphy I KNOW he is going to love the snow and go completely crazy. You will most certainly have your work cut out for you! How is the "tough love" going? Also, the eye? Loved the photo of little Guinness's one on one with you.
I guess that means that snow isn't too far away for us in Chicagoland...after this glorious fall I thought for sure it would wait until February! That surely is wishful thinking from my Florida side! Since I've only had Finley for a month it will be fun to see how he likes the snow! I know my kids can't wait!
New Orleans doesn't get much snow.
2 years ago we got a "freak snow". We had 10 inches of REAL snow in about 3 hours. I had been threatening to take him to visit his brother at Purdue so he could see real snow.
Murphy loved it! He was already famous for zoomies. Temps below 80 give him the zoomies. This was zoomies on steroids.
His tennis ball would get lost in the snow and he had to stick his face in to get it. He did somersaults from sticking his face in while running. He's a bit on the klutzy side.
I had no clue how to get all that snow off of him! But it was gone in 2 days.
We don't often get snow in Atlanta but when we do my guys get the zoomies. Here is a video from last winter.

Bandy was to young to remember snow from last year. But Rosey LOVED it!! She would burrow thru it instead of walk thru it when we walked last year!! I can't wait for the first snow to see what Bandit does!!
Bandy is such a little boy. I hope you don't have deep snow or you are going to lose him. He will just disappear into the snow but most likely come leaping out! When they start predicting snow get your camera ready by the door! It will be a Kodak moment for sure!
we get pretty deep snow in MI!! Good thing he is black so he will be easy to find if he sinks!! Oh yes many many pics and videos will be forthcoming! Feel free to bring Gracie over for a snow romp anytime! ha ha!
