Did you use SnugglePuppies to aid in the transition of your doods? I am thinking I will definitely buy one, but wanted to hear feedback on everyone's experience with them, as well as any good tips!

Kate, I also have Zach's nightime crate next to my bed. My other dogs, usually slept in bed with me from a very early age, and i just got up and took them out to potty when they got restless. Zach just won't settle down. He wants to nap, and then roam around, get off the bed, sleep on the floor... So he sleeps in the crate. I imagine when he is older I will allow him to decide where he wants to sleep - but not any time soon!. He is also like that with the couch. The other dogs get on the couch and settle in. Zach climbs up, visits for a while and then settles in on the floor, and switches places several times - like he is trying to check out every inch of tile. I'm sure a lot of it is just young puppiness and making sure that I keep my eye on him.
That's how my Haus used to be...he would start up in bed with me (all 120 pounds of him!) but then he would decide the floor was cooler.

Hi Kate,

Bruin has a Snuggle Puppy and he could care less about it!

Mel

Hey Mel - Interesting...did the SnugglePuppie have litter scent on it?

nope...but Bruin does have a blanket from the breeder with Mom's scent (he doesn't care for that either)

He loves to hump his Snuggle Puppy...but that's about it (sorry)!!!!!

I didn't use one with Webber, since I didn't know about them.  Seda has a floppy stuffed dog that was as big as she was when I gave it to her.  She still carries it outside with her when she does her business and brings it back in when she is done.  She keeps it on my bed and if I move it, she finds it and brings it back to the bed.  It is the funniest thing to see her carry that stuffed animal around.  Fortunately, I can wash it in the washing machine.  During Irene she decided to leave it in the house rather than take it out in the rain.  Tell me dogs can't problem solve!!
Oh. My. Gosh. What an adorable story. And what a smart dog. That is too cute that she makes a conscious decision not to bring it out into the rain. That is positively fantastic!
Oh what a great idea! I always used a clock and a hot water bottle when my 8 month old goldendoodle was a puppy. I wish I had known about this when he was a baby. My best friend is about to get a goldendoodle so I might recommend this for her!
Leslie - sounds like you already had the idea!!!
We didn't know about them but I wish we would have!
I know! They have got to be relatively new???
