As some of you know, Rose will be joining our family next month. April (of Cliberdoodles) was sweet enough to make the announcement last month in a blog that Gaston-Cramer was going to be a big brother! She is exactly 14 months old today!

We are so excited but it is soooooooooooooooooo different than when we were waiting on Gaston-Cramer's arrival!  I read all these cute posts about what everyone is buying for their new puppies anticipating their arrival and I was right along with you when we brought GC home.  This time, waiting for Rose is so much harder!  I have nothing to buy! LOL

We did order her a name tag but Scott has stopped me from buying "pink" toys for her as our house is LOADED with dog toys as it is and he knows Gaston, Madison and Bindi will share.

How am I going to make the time go faster until she arrives if I can't buy for her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Hmmmm....maybe April can measure her neck for me and I can get her a prissy pink collar?  That's it!  I'll shop for a collar! One with roses on it! LOL  Let's hope it takes me a month to find it as I truly feel like I have nothing to do to prepare for her arrival and time is moving so slow!

I'm wondering why you have so long a wait? Are you going to go to get Rose at April's home? . A collar, the exactly right collar sounds good as a way to pass the time. Good luck with her
We were originally waiting until the month of April as we would not have an available weekend until then to drive to go pick her up. (We prefered not to put her on a plane due to her age.) We are in the midst of an unplanned master bathroom reno and preparations for a family reunion we are hosting for my parents 50th Anniversary! Yikes! Since then, plans have been made for April and her family to bring Rose here on their way to vacation in March! April thought it would be an easier transition for Rose and for her children to see where Rose will be living. Rose was much beloved in their home and this decision was hard for them. They will now be able to see first hand how treasured she will be and see her in her new home. So in all honesty, Rose is coming to us a month earlier than originally planned and we couldn't be more thrilled! LOL She'll also now be introduced to her "Grandparents" at the surprise reunion and they will spoil her rotten!
I know how you feel about wanting to buy pretty collars! I found some that were so pretty I almost bought them... Until my husband reminded me Darwin was a boy... and wouldn't appreciate looking like a priss. :-)
You can get pretty collars for boys :) Look at the one my Tacky has:

Carole, congrats on getting Rose. I know you are excited!
That is so pretty! Where did you get it?

I am a big fan of these girl collars... so cute!

Brand is Up Country. They have an online store, but my local pet supply store sells them also. I am going to buy him one with guitars next. We are in Music City after all....
That is a very nice collar.
That sounds perfect.
How fun! Is she 14 week or months?
14 months! She's 3 months and a day younger than Gaston-Cramer! :)
Ok....I had a little fun this morning and got my "pink" urge satisfied for the day! LOL Petsmart had 75% off their winter coats and jackets and in honor of the 3 more inches of snow we're about to get in about an hour I bought Rose a hot pink snow jacket lined with hot pink plaid for next year. I know she's used to the snow in MI but once she moves down here her blood will thin and she'll be needing a snow coat! LOL Ok...I can justify anything but it was too cute to leave it there at 75% off! LOL

Love the collars. Where are the flowered ones from? I've been to the Up Country website. Love their collars!
75% off....wow! She is going to be a spoiled rotten little dood!
