There are genetically altered cats being sold for up to $22,000. The dogs are only $9950. But you have to hurry since the company will no longer be breeding these pets after December in order to focus on it's genetic technologies. You can get a premium option for quicker delivery by adding 50% to the purchase price. It sounds unbelievable doesn't it? Lifestyle Pets
"But wait!!!!!" As in the TV sales ads in the U.S. say, " If you order today, we will throw in a hypo-allergenic blanket. And for only a hundred dollars more you can have the animal chipped. When checked the chip will play 'Ode to a sucker'!"
Honestly we all complain when someone complains about the price of Doodles...so not throwing any stones...but I still would never pay that for a cat. If I personally wanted a cat...I could get one for free off my sisters farm.......
Watch out! They offer a $5,000 reward to anyone who turns in bloggers, etc...who "threaten" their company....not kidding. That is under their "Please Read" heading!
I wonder if the cats are good mouse catchers? The old saying is, "Invent a better mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door!". I wonder if it could be changed to read. "Invent a better mouse catching cat and the world will..." You know the rest.
Along the expensive animal line: Our friends sold a 1-year old Maltese puppy for $20,000! And this was 15 years ago. The dog took the breed at the Westminster Dog Show in New York City for two years running. He was also the top Maltese in the country for those two years!
The consortium of people that bought him probably spent another $50,000 to $100,000 campaigning him. They would send the dog and his handler to dog shows all over the country. Not only did they pay the expenses of his handler but, they always bought the dog a first class airline seat so he could accompany the handler on the plane in his Varikennel.
Did they recoup their investment from the stud fees they charged? Maybe! The going rate for stud was a thousand bucks a pop!
What's so special about them? People are out of their mind and bored to death or something to come up with something like this, AND wanting to purchase them! Can you imagine how many shelter dogs and cats can be supported with that kind of $?!
