sooo tired Dx

So the weather here in CO finally took it's toll on my body... for the past couple days i was feeling down and out... and with a puppy in the house i thought i wasn't gonna get my needed rest to get back to 100%...

but i think tobi kinda understood i wasn't feeling well and yesterday and the day before he just played with his toys quietly and only woke me when he needed to go out for his potty breaks... i was quite amazed :D

but today it seems he's in a "you owe me for the 2 days of not playing with me!!!" mode haha...from this morning right after his potty break it was like 30min of playing chase than inside for 15 min of tug along with a round of playing hide n seek... than after he ate he only rested for 10 min!!! and he wants at it again haha... and to top it off it's raining so he's all muddy and wet... i think instead of a full bath today i'll just wash him down and dry him off... 

i guess i do owe him for the no playing with me for 2 days thing but man... i think he's taking it a bit far hahaha... i don't think my body can keep up with his lol...

Tobi is just too cute.  I guess that he feels like he GAVE you 2 days, you feel better, now lets get going, LOL.  This reminds me that there is more to bringing that cute, adorable puppy home...  We tend to forget all that goes with a puppy, energy/sleepless nights/chewing stage, etc. but I can take it  :)

yea lol... during the 2 days when i was just out tobi was so calm and understanding... even when i was just laying down he would curl up next to me and look at me like "it's ok dad you'll feel better soon" :D i'm just glad now that he's having a real "nap" and i can relax for a bit cuz i haven't ran that much in such a long time haha... but maybe i should take a nap too cuz in about an hour he'll be waking up and we'll be at it again haha...

Doodles are the greatest therapy!  My husband had a biking accident a few weeks back and broke his scapula and ribs among some other injuries.  He couldn't sleep in bed and was sleeping in the recliner for a few weeks.  The dogs are accustomed to daily outings and coffee and scratches in bed every morning, so they had to be patient.  He has started taking them on walks at a local park and having his coffee in bed again so things are looking up.  They have been so understanding but are definitely ready to get out of the house.

Gotta go get the coffee ready!
