I think I would put a call in to the vet and see what they have to say. After the first evening home from her surgery Tara never showed any sign of discomfort. In fact the stinker jumped up on our bed (pretty high and she is a mini) which she had never done before and of course I FREAKED!!
Does she moan all the time or just when she moves and did she just start showing signs of discomfort after the family visit or before that as well?
I'd definately call her vet. Bailey was automatically on meds for 3 days and showed no signs of pain.. Keep us updated!
That sounds like a good plan Denise. Maybe if she just relaxes for a day it will give things a chance to settle down. Poor girl! I hope she improves from here on out!
I'm glad to hear the aspirin is helping her. Please update us on Sophie. Poor girl!
I agree with the others I would take her in. Daisy came home with pain meds and I gave them to her so she seemed fine.
It is nearly impossible to keep them from playing, maybe you are right and she just over did it.
Hope she feels better whatever you decide.
Call her vet and tell them what is going on!
I am glad she seems to feel better.. Hope she continues to heal without any problems!!!
I would call the vet.... Sasha had no problems what so ever but then again my vet gave her pain meds for a couple of days, same with Oliver, he had 3 days worth of pain meds. Both doodles were fine and no problems. Its worth piece of mind to make the call.
