Regarding RESPITE/REHOME
We live in Washington (spokane specifically). This has nothing to do with Chloe :( she is typically a great dog but I am in my first trimester of a pregnancy that is making me very very ill. I am sick all the time and she is being neglected in my care. Yesterday I had to go in the the hospital and she was alone over 12 hours. That was the final straw for me :( Please post/email any inquires to me on my page. She is housebroken, sweet personality, loves fetch like nothing else on earth matters and is up to date with all vet care/vaccines. Respite is preferable but I will consider rehoming for her sake :( Please help!

You know, it's really a shame about poor Chloe, but I think we all have to stop wasting all this emotional energy on this. The OP was given options and info on contacts if she wants to use them.
If anyone here really wants to help a doodle in trouble, I can post all kinds of listings of homeless doodles from Petfinder, some of whom are in shelters. More every day.
I just feel bad since I did not feel like I was attacking her. I was just trying to ask a question.
That's right, Jarka. You did not attack her, you were just asking a question. But these kinds of posts always end up the same way, because the person posting is defensive to begin with. And with good reason.
Nobody who is still here did anything wrong. I think we need to move on now.
Too bad I didn't see this until after she'd already left. No email address to look up after people leave. She did leave and say she felt attacked, but I agree, it doesn't appear anyone attacked her and her last post she never followed up on.
Found by Googling a bit. Rose is from Pullman Washington. She has a page on a diabetes support group site http://www.tudiabetes.org/profile/RoseJoelle
Posts can be made on it for her on it.
wow if I ever go missing.. I am going to have my parents come here to try to get you all to find me.. Nice work
Karen is correct - we should move on. It is an unfortunate situation but it is better to focus our energy on other things - things that we can help or make better. Just as everyone else - I am hopeful that Chloe will find a more suitable home and I am sure that DK has helped. Rose has obviously read other posts about the dangers of Craigslist.
Rose - If you are still reading DK, please remember that we ARE here to help.
How sad for Chloe. I hope Rose is still reading & might contact the DRC so they can help place Chloe.
It sounds like that would be best for Rose too.
My breeder lives right there in your area (Deer Park). She is very reputable and has lots of doodles and a handicapped daughter that helps with their care. I'm sure she could have some suggestions for you. Contact Sharon at Designer Doodles and, yes, you can tell her I referred you to her. She is close and should be very helpful. (BTW, many people are quite sick in their first trimester of pregnancy, and it may be over before long.) Sounds like you need some respite right now.
