I have been looking at puppies for months now. Even fell head over heels in love with fergie11's Rudy! But I alrealy have 2 dogs!! Is it just spring fever or can I take on the challenge of another gorgeous, loveable, fantastic doodle. P.S. MY KIDS ARE ALL IN SCHOOL ALL DAY LONG NOW!
I do have 3 dogs - only one is a doodle. We fell in love with doodles and rushed to get one. I wouldn't give any of my guys back for any amount of money. BUT, for us, 3 is kind of too many. Two are a snap, but that third one - even if the other two are calm adults, is hard. I think, like Larry, we won't do 3 again. Even so, I find myself looking at the rescues, puppies for sale etc. ( I have a new dog name ready!)
We don't pick up our doodle until this Sunday--March 1st--but I am still trolling the puppy pages ready to add to our family. I have now set my sights on a Teddy Bear Goldendoodle. I love checking out all puppies; nice to know I am not alone.
I think doodles might be addictive. I have two, have no business at all getting another, but I love, love, love to look at the breeder sights and check out the puppies. Do you think we are obsessive. Maybe we could start a doodles annonymous group?
I think of DK as a doodles annonymous group, except instead of healing our addiction, it enables us! All of my family and coworkers agreed that I have a problem before I even got my doodle! Plus, I was talking about adding a second then too! Right now I'll stick with one, since it's just me. 1:1 is a good person/doodle ratio.
I am doodle obsessed and doodle addicted and definitely need a doodle Anon group. My family thinks I am nuts. They can't believe how much time I spend on this site, taking pictures of Ned, brushing Ned, taking Ned to play.... Ned was in our local paper and on two calendars this year. I never even considered entering my other dogs pictures for anything, or my kids either!!! How bad is this?
