I saw this a few minutes ago and wondered if someone knew who to contact or if IDOG or DRC are already working to get him out?

I did forward everything to him today, he has zero tolerance for cruelty to dogs. He said that he is going to ask the sgt. at the county and his chief at the village and see if they have heard anything about it. He said he is going to go back and see if there are any other cases open or closed that might cross reference to it.
DH is a little on the unconventional side and always pushes the envelope. He has worked for the armpits of many cities and does firearms and defensive tactics training for the State of Ohio. He has many, many intriguing uses for his asp, baton, handcuffs and the hood and doors of his cruiser. When a criminal that knows him see's him they general don't want trouble. Trust me if we can find out who is responsible and they are in Mahoning County he will make sure that he does something to them at some point. Fortunately, it will be public record if they are charged so that will make it even easier :-) Luckily there are still lots of old school cops that don't tolerate people like that.
Carol, thank you.
Moses' final expenses at our volunteer's vet were of course paid by the DRC. Your donation will help so much.
How VERY, VERY sad. Thank God Moses was in the hands of a loving rescue and vet his last moments of life. I can't stop crying for this poor dog. I hope the autorities find the loser who harmed this beautiful dog. My heart is broken and sad :( RIP Moses
Absolutely heartbreaking. I cannot believe that a shelter would keep a dog in that state without doing something to relieve this dogs suffering. What kind of place is this?? That poor, poor dog. Thanks to to you guys at the DRC for all that you do to help doodles in need, and for ensuring that Moses last hours were with people who cared and showed him kindness.
I hope that the person who inflicted these injuries is brought to justice, and that the shelter is somehow made to pay for allowing a dog in their care to suffer this way.
They don't even call themselves a shelter. It's a dog pound, the Mahoning County Dog Pound; their primary purpose is to protect the public from the hazards of stray animals.
What a joke.
