SUPER TIRED DOODLE!
I Don't know if this is a doodle thing,but If I take Bella to the field that is right behind our house, for less than two minutes to run as fast as she can, she sleeps for the rest of the day and night! Its crazyness! I don't know why this happens!Sometimes, if we go to a park for an hour or two (walking with breaks in between), she sleeps for the rest of the day AND half of the next day! Do I just have an odd doodle, or is it a "doodle thing"? Also, I know that she is not sick because it's only after she does something.

How old is she? Is she still just a puppy? Annabelle doesn't like this hot weather. She will go run and play for awhile and then chill in her pool for a bit to cool off. She slept a whole lot more when she was a puppy. Now at 2 she takes a couple of naps during the day, but for the most part is awake.

She is a little over a year. When we really don't go anywhere, except for short walks and potty breaks, she acts kind of like Annabelle. I think she can just be kind of lazy sometimes:)

It's funny because Annabelle is a big sleepyhead in the mornings. If I get up before she is ready, she will give me the evil eye and go back to sleep. She has been known to finally mosey on down the stairs an hour or more after I get up. She does like a good 8-10 hours night time sleep. So maybe that's why she doesn't need much during the day.

Your sweet Bella is my kind of dog! I have two ALDs = both super laid back. Neither is keen on walking for any length of time - they prefer to just play ball for exercise. I take them for a 30 minute walk most days, and then we play ball several times a day - they are super easy "keepers"!
