Adina will handle it I'm sure but if you have gotten a message from a "new member" that has a link in it.  Do not click on it.

No it was indeed a SPAMMER.  We have never had any 'hacking' issues here ever.  I suppose it's possible but I doubt it.  It was a brand new member who had a typical spammer profile.

You can reasonably assume that ANYONE who has just joined and immediately posts messages in multiple places or to multiple people (and/or who's profile looks like a personal ad or doesn't make sense) is a SPAMMER.  Not just 'suspicious' -- it happens now and then.  It almost always happens overnight and I will always take care of it in the morning.

I thought it was a strange friend request, then when I came on the site there were no friend requests in my box.
