Because the email notification itself came from Doodle Kisses, not from the spammer. The spammer doesn't have your email address.

It always scares a few people and makes it look like a spammer has your email.  They do not.  They just sent you a message via DK.  It amazes me these spammers continue...who actually responds to them?

Welcome Peggy! I'm sorry this happened to you.  I've been on the site 7 years and have never been spammed. Sounds like Karen and Adina are on it.
