Welcome!! I think there is a group for big doodles! And 27 inches is a BIG doodle! Check for it under groups. My three are all 22 inches or less, so I don't qualify!

Found one called "Heavy weights" --check it out!

thank you ginny- is there a way i can email you directly i have a few questions?

Ginny doesn't have extra large doodles.  But you can send her a friend request and then a private message.  Just go to her page by clicking on her name and then find "send message".

mine come in over 27 inches if I stack them on top of each other!  lol  I think my house would be destroyed if my 2 guys were that big!

Casey is about 27 inches at the shoulder height.

can you share with me which breeder your dog came from. i am desperately seeking a very tall doodle to become my service animal and i need him to be very tall-

Pamela you will need to contact Lynn privately to discuss breeders.  Keep in mind that very FEW if any breeders are AIMING for dogs that tall.  It is usually a fluke when doodles come out that tall.  You would be better off considering a standard poodle from a breeder that tends to breed 'em big or go with a consistently larger breed dog.

Check with SERVICE DOG training organizations.  They may be better able to answer these questions.

What happens when, you get this dog and it does not get tall. For example, genetics is not always true.  I have two sons.  One is 5'2' and the other is 6'. Same parents.  You would be crushed to give up that dog.  VERY sad for the poor dog too, to loose its home just because of height.

I'm grabbing at straws here from you comment. Of course, I do not know.  More information is needed if we are to help you.

An organization, who has trained the dog for 2 years would be able to help you.

I would never give up the dog if it didnt grow to me as tall- because it's part of the family and loved. I am simply trying for something that will help me.

Okay, I can understand that.  Just asking an obvious question and trying to help.

There are doodle organizations who train for specifics. Have you tried any of those?

I'm simply looking for the breeders that breed the larger standard doods.
