Okay, as a new mommy I have some bragging rights, huh??  I just gotta tell you about my little Bocelli.  He is SUCH a great puppy!!!!!!! I told you all about how good his first night was.  Well his second night was better and last night he slept in his crate from 9:30 pm to 5:15 this morning!!  I had to do a double-take at my alarm clock as I couldn't believe he had slept through the night. I am SO PROUD of him!!

He is just a delight and he is a sweet, gentle soul.  He loves to cuddle. He hasn't had an accident in the house and he has taken to his crate very well.  I am so blessed.  I really didn't know what to expect but he has pleasantly surprised me at every turn.

Today he goes to the vet for his wellness check.  I'll bet he weighs 15 pounds!!  He's a hunk of burning love, my little Bo man!

That's brilliant news.  Sounds like you're in love!  Bocelli is so adorable.  I can't wait to see lots of new pictures of him.
Sandy ours are little alarm clocks also and they don't know what a weekend morning is! (or they just don't care)
Great news! personally, I think doodles are simply superior puppies all around. But it sounds like you have an extra special one. enjoy him!
Awesome news !! Sure you can have bragging rights no problem at all !!

I do hope that I am as lucky as you!  Congrats

Brag away Connie!  Sounds like he is doing very, very well - yipee!  Keep all of us with puppy lust in pictures.
awwww, that's so great!!! This just means it was meant to be!!! What a cutie!!!
That's so great!  I hope everything continues to go just as smoothly!

Check out this site. I am in no way suggesting to buy (it is $9.99) this but you can download her Puppy Socialization checklist for free. I am a total advocate of socializing your puppy to everything! Buses, trains, fire engines, bikes, roller blades, scooters, men in hats and those that wear boots, those scary suitcases on wheels - anything and everything your puppy might ever come in contact with in their lives. We don't realize just how scary the sounds of outside world is to a dog that has never heard before. Your pup is at a perfect age (after he has had all his puppy shots) to be opened to those sounds.

Have fun with Bocelli!!!

I have tht list printed out it's really great.  I also found lots of sounds on YouTube that I can use before he has finished all his shots.  Thunder and lightening, hailstones, heavy rain, fire engines, ambulance and police car sirens and trains etc.  I have them all saved ready to use. I will start them quietly and then turn them up slowly.  One by one of course!  I am absolutely determined that Riley will get as much socialization and exposure I can pack in, in the first weeks after he comes home.
So glad you are enjoying your new pup! He sounds great!!
I am so glad for you.  He is a real cutie, that's for sure!
