The Hopeless Doodle Addict Award Comes to MINNESOTA!

Something kind of funny landed on my doorstep on Wednesday… I was rather suspicious about it, but my mom seemed really excited for some reason. I think it was because she saw it was from Tamara and Giada in Michigan. I have no idea what Michigan is, but it must be pretty cool. She KNEW it was the Hopeless Doodle Addict Trophy, whatever that is. I guess all that time she spends on Doodle Kisses must be worth something! I’d like her to play with me instead of being on the computer, but she says she talks about me all the time and that people love me. But really, who wouldn’t?

So this package business… I was pretty curious about it, because my mom said there would be stuff in there for me! I checked it out, and it sure smelled tasty. It also smelled like another doodle! My mom says that's Giada... she smells pretty!

I waited patiently for her to open it for me, but she just wanted to take more pictures. Ugh… I hate waiting!

She finally opened it, and all sorts of good smells came out! I couldn’t wait to dig in!

She pulled out this trophy that said she was a Hopeless Doodle Addict. Right away, I got to sniffing, because it was covered in doodle nose prints! I decided to add one of mine, too.

We got TONS of stuff from Tamara and Giada, including a deck of cards, blueberry syrup from MI, blueberry muffin mix from MI, chocolates (mom says I can’t have any of those…), a postcard, Puppamints, a St. Patrick’s Day cookie for me, and a bone (YUM!). I put one more nose print on the trophy before I started digging into my goodies! Come on mom, get this bone unwrapped so I can start eating!

Here’s a photo of me with my mom and the HDA trophy. I tried to look at the camera, but I was a little peeved that she wasn’t letting me chew on my bone! She says I’m the reason she got the award. I love my mom so much! -Albus

I would love to meet all of you in person, but I guess I’ll have to settle with talking to you all online like I do every day! I love every one of you and your adorable doodles! Albus is the reason I found this site, and the reason I fell in love with doodles in the first place. He has turned me into the Hopeless Doodle Addict I am today.

Yeaaaah...you finally made it Caitlin!!! I know just how excited you were when the box arrived. I felt exactly the same way and Gracie and I had so much fun documenting it just like you did. Hey, did Albus find Gracie's nose print??? It is right there on the front...lol.

Congratulations...it is amazing how you can go to school and still make the Hopeless List!!! Job well done!
