Well, I had hoped to get up at 4 am to start watching the Royal Wedding, but even for royalty, I could not get up that early. Around 6 am I turned on the TV and was just in time to see the Queen making her way to the church. What a beautiful bride Kate Middleton turned out to be and I hope she and William have a more loving marriage than his parents. I can not believe it has been thirty years since Charles and Diana's wedding day and I remember it very clearly. I had only been married 3 years, no children yet, and my DH was a college student at Purdue and we were living in married student housing. I think I called in sick that day, so I would not miss a thing.  Where in the world did the time go?

Thirty years later I am watching the TV with Fudge sleeping next to me. It feels right. Now, I just hope Fudge and Vern don't celebrate too much later in the day. After all, it is their first Royal Wedding!!

I had to dvr it! No way I could get up at 4a! I can't check anything else on the Internet because I am afraid I will see her dress! I to remember watching Diana's and Charles wedding so clearly and just being in awe of her dress. I really feel that William & Kate will be happily ever after.
I love how Fudge and Vern will find any excuse to parteee!  I haven't told my guys about the wedding yet, because I'm going to make them wait for their celebration at least till Yappy Hour!

I turned on the TV at 5:15 (but that's my normal time to get up).  DH and I had our own little (although not Royal) British wedding.  We met and were married in England in 1986.  As it was a second wedding for both of us we were not allowed to be married in the Church of England, but we did walk across the street from the Registry office to take this photo!  England will always hold a special place in our hearts.  I thought that Kate was a beautiful bride and I truly feel like the do have a wonderful opportunity for a "happily ever after"!

Wow, this is a great picture.  YOU were a beautiful bride!

Truly a royal couple!

What a wonderful picture!! You guys look great!!
You were a beautiful bride - LOVE the shoes too.

Love this, especially the blue shoes, awesome!

Laurie, you are too funny!!

Hey, Fudge and Vern were just practicing the first royal kiss last week when they were nose to nose!!

I got up at 2 am to watch the wedding! I am British, but moved to Canada 7 years ago. Im happy to be able to watch it, though Cooper was confused as to why I was up in the middle of the night! DH is Canadian so I was taking him through the places, history and traditions. I take DH and the inlaws to the UK in a month and London is part of our tour.

Kate made a beautiful bride. The wedding was a great mix of modern and traditional! They seemed genuinely in love :)

I dont remember Charles and Dianas wedding, I was only 2

Kaytlin, You don't have to be mean with the only two comment....LOL!
Yeah, Caitlin!  You are quite rude to bring up the age two comment..... teehee = many of us were quite adult and married.
